Characters
General
There are four characters that you can play as which have similar formulas. They each have a 3-hit attack combo and four different power abilities. However, their stats like health & damage differ as well as what they can interact with, leading to different strengths & weaknesses that they can all help each other with.
Character Information
Note: WIP means "work in progress"

Fire Character​

Name: Ignacio Stevens
Height: 5'11"
Health: 150
Speed: 5 m/s
Role: All round DPS
Color: Red
Ignacio is a medium health/speed hero that specializes in damage and heat destruction using his fiery abilities.

Ability 1: Flamethrower​
​
A blast of fire gets shot out of Ignacio's hands when the button is held down. This ability can both burn enemies, and ignite/burn some game objects.

Ability 2: Fire Ball​
​
Shoots a fireball in front of Ignacio that creates a fiery explosion, damaging and burning foes.
​


Ability 3: Fire Nova​
​
Creates an explosive blast around the player that deals high damage, gives Ignacio a fiery aura that damages anyone nearby, and gives a speed boost. The boost and the aura are temporary.
​


Ability 4: Phoenix​
​
Ignacio turns into a fiery bird, flies straight up, then shoots a huge beam of energy that can be moved by the player.

Ice Character​

Name: Mathew Roberts
Height: 6'2"
Health: 200
Speed: 5 m/s
Role: Defender
Color: Blue
​

The Ice Character is similar stat wise to Ignacio but a little slower and with more health. He specializes in slowing enemies down and creating openings in the world using his ice.
Ability 1: Freeze Blast​
​
A quick blast of ice that can slow enemies down, create bridges, and extinguish flames.
​


Ability 2: Icicle​
​
The Ice Character shoots out an icicle from their hand that can be aimed. They can be used to hit enemies or to shoot at hard to reach targets. When the button is held, the player can aim, and will be shot once the button is released.
​


Ability 3: Spike Storm​
​
Summons a group of ice spikes around the player that can deal high damage any enemy in its radius, and gives the player ice armor that temporarily increases defense.
​


Ability 4: Blizzard​
​
Creates an area around the player that freezes any enemies in its area, immobilizing them.

Electric Character​

Name: Joule Wattson
Height: 5'6"
Health: 100
Speed: 7.5 m/s
Role: Mobile fighter
Color: Yellow
​

The Electric Character has low health but high speed, making her the ideal choice for getting around. She can use her electricity to stun enemies and to interact with electrical objects throughout the levels.
Ability 1: Electrocution​
​
A stream of electricity gets shot out of the character's hands when the button is held down. The player can enable electronic devices and shock enemies.
​


Ability 2: Thunder Storm​
​
Strikes enemies with a bolt of lighting if they are nearby.
​


Ability 3: Power Surge
​
Releases a blast of electrical energy around the player that can stun and hurt enemies. The strength/energy cost of the blast is determined by how charged the character is.

Rock Character​
​
Name: Pierre Rockwell
Height: 6'6"
Health: 300
Speed: 4 m/s
Role: Tank/Support
Color: Gray
​

Pierre has high damage and health, but low speed and mobility. His role is to take most of the hits, while supporting his team with building pillars, or by destroying structures with his bare hands.
Ability 1: Stone Pillar​
​
The player can choose a location near the Rock character, and a pillar will be created.
​


Ability 2: Earthquake Slam
​
The character punches the ground which damages nearby enemies and can break weak floors.
​


Ability 3: Stone Armor
​
Covers the character in armor, decreasing his movement speed but increases his damage and defense by a lot. He is also weighed down and can lower some objects by standing on them.

Level 2 Boss
Rogelio is a giant water monster that found his way in the city sewers. He is most powerful when under constant running water and is almost invulnerable in that state. His main attacks are powerful strikes and water related abilities.
Rogelio Aguas​
​
Role: Water monster
Height: 118'
Health: 500​​

Boss Phases:​
​
Phase 0: Rogelio is inactive and will awaken once the player enters his arena and watches his cutscene.
​
Phase 1: Rogelio is invulnerable to damage. He summons a group of water minions, 5 at a time for 3 waves while constantly shooting water balls at the player. After they are defeated, he begins his Rising Water attack and exposes his weak point when finished, you must hit this point 3 times.
​
Phase 2: A cutscene reveals 2 new paths, one for each character. They must both climb up and disable the running water valves while avoiding water balls once again.
​
Phase 2: Rogelio is in a weakened state and you can now approach him. Matt can now freeze him and he is no longer immune to damage. He will however instantly Water Slam after a certain time and retaliate.​​
Attacks, Abilities​, and States​​

A projectile that get hurled towards the player repeatedly after a short time. When they make contact they deal splash damage.

A fast but relatively weak enemy that Rogelio summons from the water. They are immune to fire but can be completely immobilized if frozen. Rogelio spawns them in waves 5 at a time.

After the weak point is hit and the running water is disabled, Rogelio becomes smaller and much weaker. You can now approach him since he now has a delay for his Water Slam and freeze him to finally deal damage.

A projectile that get hurled towards the player repeatedly after a short time. When they make contact they deal splash damage.
Code

An event to start a 4 second looping timer begins. If the CanShootPlayer bool comes back as true, a Waterball is get spawned from a Billboard located in Rogelio's shoulder, and the player's location is chosen as the target.

If the current phase is 1, a looping timer gets called that spawns a Water Minion in a random point around the front of Rogelio. After 5 have spawned, the timer stops.

This is the start of the Rising water attack.
